DEFINITIONS:
Booking Request - The initial form sent by the Client to request a performance booking.
Booking Deposit - 30% of the Total Balance quoted, payable to accept the Booking Request.
Remaining Balance - The remaining amount of the Total Balance due after the Booking Deposit has been paid.
Total Balance - The full amount owed by the Client which includes all additional fees.
Response Quote - The email or message sent in response to the Booking Request only.
You will receive a Response Quote with two QR code (bank transfer) payment links for:
a 30% non-refundable Booking Deposit, and
payments towards the Total Balance minus the Booking Deposit.
The Booking Deposit is due within 24 hours of receiving the quote to accept your booking. The Response Quote and Booking Request will be cancelled where the Booking Deposit is not received within 24 hours and will require a new Booking Request to be submitted. This does not guarantee availability for the dates previously requested.
The Booking Request is only accepted when the Booking Deposit is received.
The Remaining Balance is payable 7 days before the Event Date. The entire booking will be terminated where the Total Balance is not paid in full by this time.
Your quote will include the booking and performance details including; due dates for the Booking Deposit and Remaining Balance, the performance duration, arrival and leaving times, and Performance specifications submitted in the Booking Request.
Changes requested for this booking less than 30 days before the Event Date may require an additional fee payment and will only be accepted at the discretion of the performer.
Travel fees will be added in addition to performance fees and will be included in the Total Balance, where the Event Location is outside Central Manchester, UK.
A full or partial refund will be issued in the following circumstances:
a. If the performer is no longer able to perform at the event due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a refund of the fees paid towards the Total Balance.
b. If the client cancels the booking more than 30 days before the Event Date, a refund of the total fees paid, minus the Booking Deposit, will be issued.
Any fees paid towards the Total Balance are non-refundable for the following:
a. Cancellations less than 30 days before the Event Date.
b. Where the performer has had to terminate their performance on arrival at the Event Location or at any point during the performance due to the following:
Behaviour directed towards the performer deemed as threatening or inappropriate from the Client or any individual attending the event.
The Event Location is deemed unsafe to perform by the performer due to any individual's behaviour or hazardous environment conditions.
c. Where the Total Balance is not paid at least 7 days before the Event Date.
d. A successfully completed Booking.
Due to GDPR, your personal details submitted in the booking form will be removed from booking systems used by www.lagbamusic.com to store your Booking Request submissions in the following circumstances:
a. If a Booking Request is not secured by a deposit as stated in term 3.
b. A full booking fee balance is not paid by the due date as stated in term 4.
c. A booking has been terminated as stated in 8.b.
d. A booking has been successfully completed.
The terms and conditions may change at any point, but the terms that existed at the time a Booking Request is made still apply and will always be made available to the Client upon request.
Complaints can be made by emailing complaints@lagbamusic.com and will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within 72 working hours and a proposed resolution within 21 working days.
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
